Police in Bukwo district are hunting for ten suspects who broke out of police cells and escaped last night, 12th September 2022.
According to Fred Mark Chesang, the Police public relation officer Sipi region, these suspected are hardcore criminals having committed offences like rape, murder and theft.
He adds that they are currently investigating the real cause of the escape saying that if any staff is found to having aided this escape, he or she will be arrested.
Chesang also urged community members to help police by giving them any information regarding the whereabouts of these suspects such that they can be re-arrested.
By press time, no arrest had been made.
