Lydia Wanyoto Mutende has been declared NRM flag bearer for Mbale City after trouncing her opponent in today’s residual elections.
According to the results released, Wanyoto garnered 36281 votes against Connie Galiwango’s 19113 votes.
Galiwango however boycotted the elections complaining that the NRM EC reduced the number of cells for residual elections from 129 to 58.
