As 2021 general elections close near, Sironko district NRM sub county chairpersons have received brand new motorcycles to use for mobilising votes for their party candidates.
While handing over the motorcycles to sub county party chairpersons yesterday, 21st October, 2020, Suliman Lumolo the Sironko district NRM party chairperson said the motor bikes were donated by party head offices to enable sub county chairpersons access different corners in the sub county to mobilise votes for the party candidates.
He added that village NRM chairpersons are also going to get bicycles for the same purpose.
He added that they want to neutralize FDC in the 2021 general elections which is strong in the district compared to other districts in Bugisu.
Samson Wedenga the Busulani sub county NRM chairperson pledged to use the motorcycle to reclaim the victory of all their candidates from local levels to national.
However, getting a comment from Sironko district FDC chairperson Patrick Wonyaye were futile by press time since his known telephone number was switched off.
