The Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Budaka has said he will withdraw NRM motorcycles from sub county NRM chairpersons where Museveni will fail to score 90%.

Martin Orochi sounded the warning on Saturday while distributing over 20 yellow motorcycles to the beneficiaries drawn from the 20 sub counties in Budaka district.

The motorcycles are meant to ease mobilization for NRM flag bearers and President Museveni.

Orochi asked the beneficiaries to use the motorcycles to mobilize votes for only Mr Museveni and NRM flag bearers.

He warned them against using the motorcycles to mobilize for independents and NUP or FDC candidates and visiting their concubines.

He appealed to the beneficiaries to stop fighting each other but should rather solve their differences amicably.

“What’s killing our NRM party is internal fights but let’s solve them earliest for the good of our Party,” Orochi said.

Last month, the beneficiaries stormed the RDCs office and threatened to cross to the opposition accusing the President of delaying to send the motorcycles.

Niiri Ali from Iki Iki Sub County, one of the beneficiaries congratulated the President for finally honouring his pledge.

Pajje Emmanuel, LC 5 flag bearer, with his counterpart, Kasibo Joshua flag bearer for MP Budaka County, asked the beneficiaries to avoid abusing the motorcycles.

In 2016 general elections, President Museveni scored 36,297 representing 60.57%.
