Gravity Omutujju (C) says Bobi (L) and Bebe Cool (R) together with Chameleon are no longer the Big Three

Luga flow rapper, Gereson Wabiyi commonly known by his stage name as Gravity Omutujju has revealed how he considers suing the government of Uganda for allowing Nigerian singers Omah Lay and Tems to flout the COVID 19 guidelines by staging a big music show in the country.

With the Ugandan music artistes being denied stage performances since March in respect of COVID 19 guidelines, it was disappointing according to Gravity to see the government give the green light to foreigners to stage a music concert in the country even without observing the SOPs.

It’s from this development that the attorney General of Uganda should start preparing for his defence in the courts of law after the ‘Terrorist’ indicated how he is considering suing the government in the courts of law.

He promised to give further details through a presser very soon.

‘’SHAME ON YOU  president M7 Nebano’’

“Nigerian  upcoming singer comes to Uganda and performs to a mass crowd really NGA Ministry of health mulaba  and police mumanyi kyokka Uganda events are not allowed to happen, are we supposed to get out of Uganda and come as foreigners to be allowed to have events in Uganda? because a foreigner to perform in Uganda he must get a work permit meaning the government was involved.” Omutujju ranted.

Undone Omutujju added saying;

“In all honesty and fairness how can you allow this concert to happen when you really know that you stopped your own artists to perform, closed all happening places in a disguise of protecting the masses from catching Covid 19.”

Omutujju said he will sue government because it allowed foreigners to come to Uganda to make money while Ugandan Artistes are starving.

“President M7 and your members you are going to face me in the courts of law. More to come…  I will have a press conference very soon at PAPAZ spot Makingye to address the nation about the injustice on our industry

“I call upon all artists to come together and stress out our dissatisfaction’’-Gravity Omutujju.

Meanwhile, Nigerian singers Stanley Omah Didia better known as Omah Lay and Temilade Openiyi professionally known as Tems have been arraigned before the Makindye Division court in Kampala for flouting COVID-19 guidelines in Uganda.

The duo was arrested in Uganda by Katwe Police after performing at a concert in the country. They were arrested alongside the manager of the venue one Dungu Ivan and the Events manager Prim Kasana.

Confirming the arrest, Luk Owoyesigyire, the Assistant Superintendent of Police and Deputy Police Spokesperson, Kampala Metropolitan Police in a statement released on Twitter, wrote;

“Nigerian Artist Omah lay has been arrested by Katwe police , the manager of the venue one Dungu Ivan and the Events manager Prim Kasana are also in custody. More details to follow.

“Temilade Openiyi Aka Ms Tems (Artist) also been arrested with her manager Muyiwa Awomiyi.”

According to the Ugandan news outlet, The Independent, the organizers of the event disguised the show as a lunch and dinner event but later on, at night started inviting artists to perform.

The concert took place on Saturday after the singer and organizers were warned from performing at the concert.

The concert contravenes President Museveni’s directives on social gatherings in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19.

The president placed a ban on all music concerts, closed down bars, banned fans at all sporting events and reduced the number of people who could attend church services.

Uganda’s Ministry of Health on Sunday reported 461 new confirmed coronavirus cases, taking the total number of cases in the country to 27,532.

In an update earlier this morning on his Twitter page, Omah Lay had assured fans that things would be sorted out soon. The 23-year-old wrote;

“Yes I’m with the Ugandan police… something about the show from last night. Everything would be fine…
