AMAZING! Ngora Girls S.S Wins World Award On Sustainable Learning

Ngora Girls Senior Secondary has won an award in sustainable learning.
Speaking to this website this morning, the Head teacher, Ms Grace Namuduwa said the school has equipped students with skills in different fields the reason it won different awards in United Nations competitions.
Ngora Girls located in Ngora town Council Ngora is a church of Uganda founded boarding school for your girl child in Uganda.
Ms Namuduwa reveals that her school trains the girls on debating skills that made one of their students to win an award in 2019 when the school represented Ngora district at national and international students competitions on debates, according to her this prepares girls for leadership.
She also adds that students are trained on Climatic change where girls are taught to plant trees at school and at home when they get back from school, human rights, Spiritual growth.
The  Head teacher argues that these skills prepare girls to handle any hard conditions in future.
The headmistress told our reporter that the school has this year registered 55 students seating for o’level UNEB examination this year.
She also said that despite the covid 19 challenges, non of the girls contracted virus or got pregnant.
“we thank God for that, and also appreciate our parents for keeping their daughters safe at home for almost one year.” Namuduwa said.
The headmistress said that the school has good learning environment, fenced, enough learning space, science lab, equipped laboratory, computer lab and projector for easy learning amidst covid, social distance regulations.
The school also has dedicated hard working teachers ever ready to teach and guide the  students  on issues including guidance and counselling on HIV/AIDS and early unwanted marriages and pregnancies.
