Anger As 15 Primary 7 Girls Are Gang Raped

Fifteen young P.7 girls have been gang raped on their way back from coaching lessons at 9:00pm.
The girls who were gang raped on the night of Thursday 4th March 2021had been attending coaching lessons at their Head teacher’s home.
The unfortunate incident took place at Bugusege in Bugusege Town Council, Sironko district and the girls are pupils of Bugusege Primary School.
Consequently, Police in Sironko has arrested the headteacher of Bugusege primary school and other three youths.
The suspects are  Godfrey Wanyoto the headteacher of Bukusege primary school others are  Gilbert Magomu aged 25 years, Sharif Musika  27 years and Emma Yama 28 years, all residents of Bukusege town council in Sironko district. 

 

According to Abdul Wetaka Gadid, an eye witness, the15 primary seven pupil girls were gang raped at 9.00 pm by ten youths while on their way back home from the head teacher’s home for coaching.

 

He adds that these pupils have been having coaching lessons at school but the headteacher changed the idea and had them attend the lessons at his home over unknown reasons.

Rogers Taitika, the Elgon region police spokesperson has confirmed the arrest saying that they are still hunting for more suspectss to be arrested to answer charges of defilement and rape.

He adds that the minors are at Mbale general clinic for testing of HIV/AIDs and getting treatment since all got ruptured.
