The Spokesperson for the National Resistance Movement Party and also government Mouth Piece has revealed how they tried to warn Rebecca Kadaga not to seek re-election as Speaker.

Ofwono Opondo revealed this yesterday in a tweet where he literally taunted the former Speaker of Parliament. Ofwono has severally come out to criticize the way Kadaga ran the August House accusing her of intolerance, fighting the Party Agenda and disrespecting other organs of government.

In yesterday’s tweets, O.O starts by assuring Kadaga that he will run to the shrine should she win the elections.

 

Am going to the shrine if you win this election for speaker,” Ofwono tweeted.

 

He later released the bombshell;

In the NRM, we fire warning shots. If you ignore them you get taken down. I hope this serves as a good lesson.” He added.

 

Kadaga was yesterday beaten by her former Deputy, Jacob Oulanyah who got 310 votes against her 197.
