SOROTI CITY
Teso broadcasting services Radio, an urban radio in Soroti city scooped two awards in the category of Teso oriented radio program and appreciation Award towards the Teso Tourism Development awards 2021 (TTDA 2021) beating four other radios.
The event that took place today 21st Dec 2021 at cricket oval Soroti city is organized by Makerere University Business School in partnership with TBS Radio and other companies in the morning with cycling competition.
The event had nine categories including a Teso oriented tourism radio program that had five radios nominated Voice of Teso, Kyoga Veritas, Mama Bukedea, Etop and TBS.
Other categories were Teso’s best tourism attraction site taken by Nyero rock painting, Soroti city outstanding hotel taken by Akello hotel and Teso’s best transport company was Kakise Bus Company, Teso’s outstanding record label was taken by Airebourne Entertainment Africa
Moses Musira the station manager TBS radio said the awards are very motivating and a sign that TBS radio has a great impact in the society.
The promotion manager Dabia Noah and also the Juakali host said TBS will keep up the brand of offering effective programing to its target audience and its clients.
