“Am here in Petete in Butebo to mobilize for Parish Development Model because all of us in Government have made a commitment to make this a priority.” She noted.
“So this is where I come from, I started working with one parish and I have expanded to Sub-county and so after here we are going to go Sub-county by Sub-county reaching every Parish because I want people to benefit from this program.” She continued.
The Minister also revealed that North Bukedi has been selected for the launch of the Parish Development Model Project.

Though she didn’t reveal the date, Musenero said that the Launch will take place in January and that the Minister of Local Government shall visit the selected districts to identify the Model Parishes that will be selected to pioneer the Parish Development Model.
“This region is the one that will host the launch so it’s important to mobilize people so that they understand what Parish Development Model means and they get ready because during the Parish Development Model week, the whole Government is going to be here to deliver services in the seven pillars of Parish Development Model.” She Noted.
“So as a leader from here, as a minister from here I take it as my responsibility to make sure that I mobilize my fellow leaders and the population.” She added.
