SOROTI CITY
The Soroti City leadership has today Wednesday 1st/06/2022 launched the PDM at the Soroti City Gardens in a ceremony attended by different leaders and stakeholders.
Benezar Edrine, the Deputy RCC for Soroti East Division urged the leaders to mobilise the population to embrace the programme so that it will benefit all the people.
“leaders should have been trained before launching the PDM programming but I urge the leaders to get the training so that they can go and educate the masses too on the benefits of the programme so that they will come out of poverty”, he added.
Chief guest during the launch, Abaseret Josephine, the deputy RCC Soroti East Division also called upon all leaders to commit total support in implementing the programme as it’s non partisan and it’s meant to transform Ugandans to an income development economy.
” Let’s focus on sentisisation, mobilise community to benefit on the funds if all is done then Parish Development Model will be a success”, she added.
She later on handed over the Implementation modules for the pdm programme to different leaders from the city and the divisions.
