Police in Namisindwa district have today, 3rd June, 2022 recovered a body of a 32 year old UPDF soldier dangling on the roof of his house.
The deceased is identified as Samuel Maunda, a resident of Bukokho Sub County in Namisindwa district.
According to Rogers Taitika, the Elgon region police spokesperson, police recovered the body dangling on the roof of his house after being tipped off by the wife.
He adds that the wife of the deceased, Agnes Mukhaye after reaching home today from Bumbo town council where she had gone for burial last week, got the body of the husband dangling on the roof that is when she reported to the Magale police station for intervention .
Taitika adds that police removed the body and has been taken to Mbale city mortuary for post-mortem.
