Namisindwa Tycoon Survives Death By Whisker After Arsonists Torch His House

A Namisindwa prominent businessman has survived an arson attack after unknown persons doused his house with petrol and set on fire.

 

James Masai of Bumusomi village, Buwambiqwa parish, Namboko Sub County in Namisindwa district survived the attack that took place at 2:00 AM, the night of 8th August 2022 simply because he was not in the house.

 

According to Safu Sitsangi, one of the area residents, unknown people came with patrol and poured it on his Masai’s house thinking that he was inside and later set it on fire over unknown reasons.

 

He adds that since the Incident happened at 2 am, it was hard for neighbors to respond in time as a result the fire burnt the whole house down.

 

Masai revealed to this reporter that nobody was in the house when the house was torched but added that all household property including money got burnt.

 

Joseph Situma, the LCI Chairperson of Bumusome village has condemned what happened and says investigations have commenced to identify the persons behind the arson.

 

He also cautioned youths in the area against involving in drug abuse which might be the cause of such acts.
