An Artisanal gold mine has collapsed in Lobongia Sub County Kaabong district leaving one person dead and two others injured.
The makeshift gold mine located in Lomusian mining area, Lomusian parish in Lobongia Sub County caved in on Wednesday afternoon, 14th September 2022.
The Lobongia sub county LC3 chairperson, Lolem Chris Isaiah Lowany says the gold mine could have collapsed due to torrential rains.
