Teso Coach Driver Arrested For Knocking Dead Pedestrian in Mbale City

A Teso Coaches Driver has been arrested in Mbale City after knocking dead a yet to be identified pedestrian at the busy Nakaloke Trading Center in Mbale City.


The 65 year old driver has been identified by police as Moses Yasin from Maganjo in Wakiso district.


According to Rogers Taitika, the Elgon Police spokesperson, the accident happened yesterday afternoon, 22nd November, 2022 when Teso coach bus number UAV 968X knocked to death a pedestrian who was crossing the road.


He confirmed that the cause of the accident was over speeding of the bus and urged drivers to reduce speed while passing through busy places.


Taitika also says that the body of the deceased has been taken to Mbale mortuary for post-mortem.
