MBALE CITY
Police at Northern City Division in Mbale City have arrested six people suspected to have been involved in drugs dealing.
This was revealed by John Byamugisha, the Northern City Division Police Commander saying the suspects were arrested this morning, 8th December, 2022 during an operation carried out in Bujoloto, Nambozo, Kasanvu, Nakaloke and Juba.
He adds that the operation follows the current increased theft and other related crimes which have been increasing in the area.
“We discovered items like opium, marijuana, smart phones, iron bars, solido wires, and phone chargers among others in their houses,” Byamugisha said before adding that the suspects are currently detained at Mbale Central Police Station waiting to be taken to court.
