President Yoweri Museveni also Commander In Chief (C i C) of Defence Forces has appointed Brig Gen Gaetano Peter Omola as the new Uganda Contingent Commander in SOMALIA.
The Commander Land Forces, Lt. Gen Kayanja Muhanga today, 20th December, 2022 officiated at the Handover/Takeover ceremony of the office from Brig Gen Keith Katungi to Omolla in Mogadishu-Somalia.
This was revealed by the UPDF Spokesperson, Brig. General Felix Kulaigye in a tweet. According to Kulaigye, more details of the changes will be communicated later.
