A 22 year old woman and resident of Sirombe village, Kabayi parish Bumwoni Sub County in Namisindwa district must be eating her cock after surviving being lynched by an angry mob that got her with a stolen pig.
The woman identified as Suzan Khwaka was yesterday only rescued by the LCIII chairperson of Bumwoni sub county, Michael Khaukha
According to the LCIII chairperson, Khwaka broke into the pigsty of her neighbor identified as Bosco Welikhe from Busoni village, Butemulani parish, Bumwoni Sub County in Namisindwa district yesterday morning and disappeared with one of his pigs.
He adds that Welikhe made an alarm that attracted angry residents who turned up with pangas, axes, stones, bricks, and sticks with intention of lynching Khwaka but he saved her by rushing her to Bubutu police post.
Getting a comment from police by press time was futile after Rogers Taika, the Elgon region police spokesperson said he had not yet got any information.
