An unruly cow has kicked and removed testicles of a 43 year old cattle trader at Bumbo Town Council Market in Namisindwa district today, 14th March, 2023.
The victim has been identified as Sunday Wasibale Fred from Bushemba village, Bumityelo parish, Bumityelo Sub county in Namisindwa district.
According to Bernard Mujasi, an eyewitness, the cow kicked Wasibale while he was trying to untie it at the market.
He adds that the unruly cow kicked him in the private parts ending up damaging all his testacles making him faint immediately.
Fred Babende, the chairperson of Bumbo town council market confirmed the incident saying that the victim was rushed to Bumbo health centre III in critical condition.
He urged vendors from animal department to always handle animals with care to avoid future occurrences of such incidents again.
David Mupuya a health worker at Bumbo health centre III also says that the victim needs an operation adding that soon he will be referred to either Mbale regional hospital or Bugebero health centre IV
