ENTEBBE: Police Dogs Recover Stolen Car Number Plates in Banana Plantation

Police have recovered two number plates vandalized from motor vehicles by yet to be identified thieves.


According to police, early morning of March 19, 2023, three motor vehicles were vandalized in Katabi Town Council, with items stolen from within them. The vehicles included a Sienta, a RV 4, and a Toyota Wish.


Fortunately, the Katabi police station was informed of the incident and their canine section promptly jumped in with a team of officers.


Through the use of advanced tracking methods, the canine section was able to recover the first two number plates of the stolen vehicles, which were found in a banana plantation within Katabi council, Entebbe division.


While no suspects have been apprehended as of yet, the police have continued with their inquiries and are actively following up on leads.


“We commend the Katabi police station and the canine section for their prompt response and successful recovery of the stolen items,” the police statement issued on 19th March, 2023 says.
