Lydia Wanyoto Mutende, the former Mbale city woman Member of Parliament contestant also the National Resistance Movement Woman’s League Chairperson has urged leaders from Bugisu region to have a united lobbying voice when President Museveni visits the region.
Wanyoto made the call while speaking to religious leaders over the weekend at her home located at Malukhu, Industrial City Division in Mbale City.
Wanyoto said that President Museveni has embarked on regional tours and will be in Bugisu region this month.
She said that Bugisu has many issues which need to be addressed presented to the President when he comes but leaders need to be united.
Mutende also says that the Bugisu region has missed lots of developments because of fights and divisions among leaders.
