The Namisindwa Resident District Commissioner (RDC) has warned students against involving in immoral acts like homosexuality and lesbianism at schools.
Imran Muluga sounded this warning yesterday, 12th April, 2023 at Magale playground during the passing out of over 1000 students from different schools who had been undergoing patriotism training.
Senior one and five students from schools like Magale SS, Namisindwa SS, Lwakhakha SS among others were involved in the exercise.
The students underwent patriotism lectures and how to handle a gun for one week by police and UPDF officers.
Muluga said that Namisindwa is the first district in Bugisu to have a suspected case of homosexuality meaning students should avoid engaging themselves in those acts such that they can keep morals and African culture.
Kakai Khanakwa and Jessica Wekosasa both students from Namisindwa secondary school expressed their happiness saying they have learnt lots of things about the history of Uganda and they are going to love their country by not involving in corruption among other bad practices.
