The State Minister for Karamoja Affairs has become the third Minister to be charged in the Karamoja iron sheets scandal.
Information reaching our desk indicates that Agnes Nandutu handed herself over to the Police investigating the Karamoja iron sheets scandal early today, 18th April, 2023.
Nandutu is currently at the Criminal Investigations Directorate in Kibuli, and becomes the third minister to be charged in the widening scandal.
Nandutu will be arrested and arraigned before the Anti-Corruption Court anytime between today and tomorrow.
According to Enanga, Nandutu should have been arrested on Friday, 14th April, 2023 but she skipped the summons to appear at Kibuli and was apparently in hiding.
