President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has tasked Dr. Musenero and the Ministry of Health to explain why Prof. Ogwang’s Covidex has not been regularized.
President Museveni said this on 18th June, 2023 shortly after declaring that he was now Covid-19 negative, 11 days after he was first tested positive.
Museveni who was upbeat for beating off Corona was however not pleased by the fact that Covidex, touted by the inventor has not been regularized three years after the outbreak of the pandemic that brought the world to its knees.
Museveni also revealed that he had shifted from mask wearing because it was giving him allergy of the throat and nose to use of nutrition and therapeutics where Prof. Ogwang’s Covidex comes in.
“Why hasn’t Covidex been regularized? I need quick answers from Dr. Musenero and from the Ministry of Health,” Museveni said.
Museveni who blames government officials of lacking seriousness said, “How can someone say he can cure corona which has killed so many of our people and it is now three years and you have not confirmed his claim or be proved it to be a lie.”
The President also advises Ugandans to eat healthy (Typical African foods such as fish, maize, cassava, millet, bananas, fruits, milk, beef etc), do physical exercises, avoid reckless living such as drunkardness, and promiscuity.
Above all Ugandans should ensure they adequate supply of Vitamin D got from exposure to sunlight.
