TORORO: Police Recover Spare Parts of Stolen Motorcycle

Police in Tororo district has recovered spare parts of a motorcycle suspected to have been stolen last month.


This follows a crackdown which was carried out today, 29th August, 2023 by police and locals in Tororo municipality following the increased cases of Boda Boda motorcycle theft.


According to Johnson Moses Mugwe, the Bukedi South region police spokesperson, they discovered vandalized Boda Boda motorcycle registration number UDV 232G bajaji boxer parts wrapped in a sack tied on another motorcycle registration number UDF 006U Black in colour ready to be taken to an unknown destination for sale.


He adds that they have impounded the parts of the motorcycle and the motorcycle which was being used but the owner has not yet been known since they only got motorcycle alone parked.


Mugwe appealed to the general public with information leading to the identification and arrest of the culprits to avail it to the nearest Civil authorizes and Police to have action taken.
