Police Directs Lodges to Register Even Quickie Clients

The spokesman for Kampala Metropolitan Police, Patrick Onyango, has issued a directive for all lodges and hotels to start registering individuals who are checking in to book rooms, whether it’s for an overnight stay or just a few hours.

 

This directive was issued today, 5th September, 2023 following growing security threat in the capital City especially with the Sunday arrests of terrorists with Improvised Explosive Devices. According to Onyango, the directive takes immediate effect.

 

The directive means that people going for quick sex in lodges must carry their National Identity Cards as is the requirement of proof of personal information given.
