Busamaga Sub County has officially received a donation of land in which its head offices will be constructed having operated in a rented house for two years.

The land was donated by one of the residents, Lamaka Boto on Friday, 5th January, 2024.

Boto, a resident of Bubazomi village says that he donated the land for the development of the area.

He says that the sub county has been lacking land to construct offices for the last two years since they broke away from Buwalasi Sub County.

Fred Gidongo, the Busamaga sub county councilor to the district said the district has wanted to construct head offices for the sub county but couldn’t because of lack of land space.

He says that he is now going to pressurize the district to allocate funds to the sub county such that they can erect buildings.

Moses Muduli, the LCIII chairperson of Busamaga Sub County expressed his happiness with the land donation saying the sub county has been spending lots of money in terms of rent.

He says that they are now going to divert that rent money to other developmental activities in the sub county.
