Joint Security forces have recovered the 23 heads of cattle that were raided on Monday at around mid night in Kalapata Kraals Kaabong District.
The 23 heads of cattle were all recovered by joint security forces together with the help of peace loving wanainchi from the general areas of Naontosi towards the border with Kenya.
According to IP Longole Mike, the Acting PRO Mt. Moroto/ASTU, this cattle raid was masterminded by wrong elements from Turkana County in Kenya who have continued destabilising peace in the border areas.
Longole says security forces are determined to protect Ugandans from these external aggressors.
“We salute our personnel deployed in Kalapata, Losera, Kamion and Lotinyam for the good Job they are doing,” he says in a statement issued today, 10th January, 2024.
