Four people all residents of Namunsi Trading Center, Northern City Division in Mbale City have been shot dead in Amudat District.
According to Police in Amudat District, the incident happened on Sunday 4th, February, 2024 around 0330pm.
The deceased who were traveling in Motorvehicle Reg. No. UBP 601Q Toyota Harrier black in colour were shot dead by suspected armed thugs along Lemusui Road within Akonguyo village, Amudat Subcounty, Amudat District.
A team of detectives visited the scene together with a canine dog and established that all the four victims are from Mbale, no arrest made.
Some tangible evidence were recovered and statements were recorded from witnesses to support investigations.
The bodies were conveyed to Amudat Hospital mortuary for Postmortem and collection by the relatives.
“Motive of this murder is yet to be established,” IP Longole, Police Spokesperson Karamoja region says.
