BREAKING! FDC’s Toka Kwa Barabara Hit Song Composer Dies at 36 Years

The song writer who composed the popular Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) campaign song tiltled ‘Toka kwa barabara’ has died.


Adam Mulwana, an artist who recorded the political hit song  for the former presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye, died today morning, 13th February, 2024.


Mulwana aged 36, passed on following a long ailment, which doctors are yet to confirm. In 2023, Mulwana alleged that he had been poisoned and called out to his political friends for help.


Dr. Kizza Besigye has mourned the deceased as an intelligent and creative man.


“I have known Adam for a long time. I met him in 2010 when he was introduced to me by one of our comrades, Hajji Asuman Ssemakula. He was still a young man,” Besigye reveals in his eulogy.


He adds that Adam composed many songs, but two are the ones that caught fire including the Toka kwabarara. “He has died young, and we are going to miss him,” Besigye said in a local TV station based in Kampala City.
