The Chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has just made more nine executive appointments.
This was revealed today 16th February, 2024 by Daudi Kabanda, Member of Parliament for Kasambya County and Deputy Spokesperson Patriotic League of Uganda.
According to Kabanda, the following have been appointed; Nshangabasheija Nelson, Coordinator Kigezi, Hon. Ojara Martin Mapenduzi, Coordinator Acholi, Owekitinisa Henry Basaliza, Coordinator Tooro Sub Region and Hon. Jackson Atima, Coordinator Greater Arua.
Others are; Tabaro Didas Tumwesigye, Deputy Coordinator Ankole, Hon. Godfrey Kabyanga, Coordinator Rwenzori, and Kajojo Sam Arinaitwe, Deputy Coordinator Kigezi.
Muhoozi ha s also appointed Katwiire Polly Karamuzi, Spokesperson Ankole and Ms. Walemba Joyce Daphine, Women Representative Rwenzori.
These latest appointments follow the 9th February, 2024 appointments made by General Muhoozi. Those appointments had the following;
General Muhoozi Kainerugaba Chairman, Dr Balaam Barugahara Vice Chairman Western Region, Michael Nuwagira Toyota CC member and Frank Gashumba Vice Chairman Central Region.
Andrew Mwenda is the Spokesperson, while Katungi Michael is Commissioner External Relations and Hon. Michael Mawanda is CC Member.
Hon. Lillian Aber is the Vice Chairperson Northern Region, David Kabanda is Deputy Spokesperson and Hon. Peter Ogwang takes the role of Coordinator Teso.
Hon. Haruna Kasolo is Coordinator Greater Maska, Hon. Twalla Fadil Coordinator Sebei, Nzeire Shadrack Coordinator Ankole, Judith Mukidi Women Reps Tooro, Sarah Kiyimba Women Reps Greater Masaka and motor mouthed Tamale Mirundi is Deputy Spokesperson Buganda.
The MK Movement that started in April 2022 as a spontaneous and diverse group of Ugandans that rallied around Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has transitioned into a civic organization with the aim of working towards reviving in Ugandans a spirit of good citizenship, national pride, national service, protection of vulnerable persons, combating corruption and wastage of public resources, and protection of the environment.
