The school football team of Bukedea comprehensive school in Bukedea District on Tuesday, 12th, March 2024 hammered Teso College Aloet three goals to nil in a Friendly match ahead of Uganda secondary schools sports association (USSSA) commonly known as post primaries championship due to take place on 17th, March 2024.
The friendly match was held at Teso college Aloet sports field.
Medard Snr, Bukedea Comprehensive Games Teacher says the school team is determined and focused to lead in the upcoming post primaries championship.
“We decided to hold friendly matches purposely to build the confidence of our boys and strength”, said Mr. Medard.
Mr. Sylus Oluka, the head coach Teso college Aloet conceded the defeat saying their focus is first to emerge as champions in Soroti before looking at the regionals.
“My team is not all that bad but our area of focus is first to lead the district before looking at the region”, said Mr. Oluka.
This publication also confirmed that the post primaries will be hosted by Malera secondary school.
However, a total of twenty schools are expected to turn up for the competition:
