Kampala City Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago has celebrated the sacking of Rubaga Deputy Resident City Commissioner, Burora Anderson.
Burora was yesterday Thursday, 14th March, 2024 suspended by the secretary to the Office of the President, Hajji Yunus Kakande over land related matters and other issues.
Sources say the directive came from President Museveni following a meeting with Speaker of parliament Anita Among on Wednesday.
Sources say the Speaker reportedly complained to the President about the D/RCC’s continued undermining of the institution of parliament and its head through his social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Lukwago in a tweet today, 15th March, says Burora had become too much in Kampala and was behaving as if he was bush-war General.
“Formerly a member of the Jobless brotherhood, RCC Burora Anderson has been ruthlessly running roughshods over everyone in Kampala and conducting himself as bush-war General. Many lessons to pick from his now plummeting career,” Lukwago wrote.
