An Electrical Engineer has declared his intentions of ousting the incumbent Namisindwa County Member of Parliament, Hon. Apollo Masika.
Engineer Paul Isaac Khaukha revealed his intentions to this reporter in an exclusive phone interview on Friday, 22nd March, 2024.
Khaukha who says he feels indebted to his people because they paid for his O’Level education in form of a bursary having excelled in the PLE of 1993 where he got 10 Aggregates from Bupoto Primary School, revealed that come 2026, he shall be having the NRM Flag for the Namisindwa County Constituency.
Khaukha is in cohorts with the Namisindwa District Speaker, Dorothy Nebokhe Walukawu to give a fresh air of leadership to Namisindwa district at Parliament level. Recently, Walukuwu revealed how she is prepared to ensure that the incumbent District Woman MP, Sarah Netalisile does not go back.
Khaukha says the incumbent has become an absentee representative of the people of Namisindwa and deserves to rest.
“Namisndwa people paid for my tuition throughout O’Level at Masaba Boys and now when I see them not being represented well, I feel bad yet whatever I have today is because of them,” Khaukha says.
Khaukha is a Certified Electrical Engineer with businesses in Pallisa and Kampala which he has proudly named after his mother district, Namisindwa. For instance, his Guest House in Pallisa is called Namisndwa Guest House.
