A 33 year old man has been arraigned in Court for allegedly impersonating as an MK Movement Member and defrauding over 200 persons of their hard earned money in Elegu, Arua.

According to the Police Spokesperson, Fred Enanga, Iguma Mubarak was charged before the Chief Magistrates Court in Gulu on offences of Impersonation and obtaining money by False Pretence last week.

Enanga says the suspect convinced mostly boda boda riders, taxi operators, market vendors, salon and bar operators that he would link them up to Gen. Muhoozi Kaneirugaba (Gen. MK), for support.

Iguma is said to have asked the 200 persons to pay membership fees upon which he issued them fake MK Movement Constitution and Membership Cards.
