There was shock at Adodi village, Kamacha Sub County in Kumi district after a one Olimia allegedly beheaded his wife in the most gruesome murder over unknown reasons.
According to Henry Akol, the LCI chairperson of Adodi village, the deceased is known as Dinah Atiang, aged 46 years.
He says that the beheaded body of Atiang was discovered in a nearby garden on Tuesday, 7th May, 2024 by locals who alerted him.
Justine Moses Osire, the LCIII chairperson of Kamacha Sub County condemned the incident urging people to always report such related domestic violence cases to police or local leaders other than taking the law in their hands.
James Kyonya, the Deputy Resident District Commissioner of Kumi says that the body of the deceased has been taken to Atutur health center 1V for postmortem.
He says that police are hunting for Olimia who is on the run adding that if arrested, he will be taken to court and charged with murder.
