Ugandan Media Personality and Socialite, Sheila Gashumba has broken up with her celebrity boyfriend, Rickman Manrick, real name Derrick Ddungu.
The split was confirmed by none other than Sheila herself today, Saturday, 11th May, 2024 in a press release.
“Dear friends and supporters, after much reflection and consideration, Rickman Manrick and I have mutually decided to part ways,” says Sheila.
The Socialite says that whereas her fans may be shocked with this revelation, the decision was reached with respect and understanding of each other’s paths.
“As I navigate this new chapter of my life, I would like to emphasize that am single and not actively seeking a new relationship at the moment,” she says.
This relationship came to life after she parted ways with her then-boyfriend – God’s Plan.
This couple had earlier attracted immense pressure from fans and the showbiz world for them to formalize their relationship to no avail.
However, early this year, during an intuitive interview with Rickman on Sanyuka TV, he acknowledged the fact that having a family was a dream they both looked up to and would initiate plans when they’re both ready.
“The process of having a traditional and matrimonial approach to marriage is a huge step. I would love to stress that it’s in the pipeline and we are working on it,” Rickman said then.
