ENTEBBE
The in-charge Highways at Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA), Eng. Moses Kaggwa Luwemba has quit his juicy job which he assumed 6years ago.
The reason for his resignation is not yet known but sources say he was always sidelined on a number of juicy activities especially foreign travel trips.
During his stint at UNRA he is said to have done a number of fundamental activities including designing a number of roads that had been neglected for decades –the most notable ones include the nine roads connecting Mpigi to Nakawuka, Kisubi to Nakawuka, Natete to Nakawuka and Kitara –Gerenge road among other road infrastructures.
Sources revealed to us that Eng. Kaggwa resigned a fortnight ago and a send off ceremony was organized for him at the UNRA Headquarters in Nakawa Division, Kampala city.
A source that attended the send-off ceremony told us that Eng. Kaggwa thanked his now former employer (UNRA) for giving him the opportunity to work with them for the last 5years and that during his tenure in office, he learnt a lot from his workmates and they too learnt a lot from him.
Sources close to Eng. Kaggwa told us that he has plans to start-up an engineering company where he expects to earn good money than the Shs9m the authority was paying him monthly.
Sources further revealed to us that apparently Eng. Kaggwa is still resting at his magnificent residence in Garuga zone in Katabi Town Council, Wakiso district, managing his personal businesses including his swanky bar and swanky Unisex salon among other business ventures.
