“We were shocked to see that our son in-law is again taking poison after the wife refused to go back with him, we had to run to the nearby clinic again to seek for them first aid”, said Mr. Etiang.

“We pray for his life because his condition is not good”, added Mr. Etiang.

Scovia Arionget, the victim’s wife, refused to return to her home despite Olupe’s decision to take poison.

“I’m no longer in love with you, you chased me to leave your home, let me start my own life”, said Arionget.

Ms. Mary Acom, one of the community members in Tisai condemned Olupe’s act of taking poison saying he would have engaged more clan leaders into their family matters.

However, Mr. Olupe’s life deteriorated and he was referred to Kumi Hospital Ongino where is currently admitted.
