The office of the Auditor General has announced the commencement of physical validation of Pensioners.
In a media post, the office says the nationwide exercise kicks off on 8th July, 2024 where pensioners or beneficiaries are expected to appear in person with relevant documents.
The relevant documents are First Appointment letters, confirmation letters, Promotion letters if any, Retirement letters or certificates, National Identity Cards, Letters of Administration/Grant of Probate, Introduction letters from Accounting Officers,
The head count will be conducted at designated validation centers at Districts, Cities, Municipalities and Division headquarters for Kampala City Council Authority.
“Pensioners/beneficiaries will be required to appear at the nearest validation centers irrespective of where they retired from,” says a statement by OAG.
