The man who has become synonymous with anti-Speaker Anita Among social posts and former Rubaga Division Deputy RCC, Herbert Anderson Burora has finally been granted court bail.
Burora posted on his X Handle on Thursday, 25th July, 2024 that he had been granted bail and thanked his lawyers for their relentless efforts.
“I finally got my bail granted. My Lawyers who amid intimidation and possible compromise, chose the cause over silver. Thank you Friends and everyone who added a voice,” tweeted Burora.
He went ahead to says that whereas he may have lost a Job (Livelihood) Freedom under threat, he is focused and ready to lose everything to defeat all possible existential threats to all Ugandans.
“For man to live, there are two things he must undergo, to BELIEVE and to DIE. We’ve already expressed what we believe in, what is left, is whether what we believe in leads to our death or we compromise our beliefs to die an unknown death,” he says further.
Herbert Anderson Burora was arrested in the early hours of today, Tuesday, 2nd July, 2024 at his home in Ntinda, a Kampala City suburb and remanded the following day.
Burora was charged for alleged cyber harassment of Speaker Anita Among whose peace he has disturbed.
