Sad news trickling in from South Sudan has confirmed that at least 15 people who were aboard Bebeto Coach SSD 089Z Bus have died after the bus was ambushed and set ablaze.
The incident occurred early morning of today, Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Lakarakak, between Nyerjebe and Kubi according to multiple media sources.
“15 people perish, scores hurt and others fled to the bushes in Juba – Nimule highway bus attack,” read a post by one of the Journalists in South Sudan on his X Handle.
The attack has been confirmed by the management of Bebeto Coaches.
Authorities are yet to give an official statement regarding the attack nor are the perpetrators named as yet.
