There was shock at Buchera village, Kameke Sub County in Budaka district when residents discovered one of their own lying in a pool of blood dead on Monday evening, 23rd September, 2024.
According to Bukedi North region police spokesperson, Samuel Semewo, Nadome Ludia, 65 years old was found murdered in cold blood by yet to be identified people in her house.
Semewo says Nadome who has been living alone in her house on the above address was last seen by her immediate neighbors at her compound on Monday morning when she entered her house to sleep.
He says that a concerned neighbor realized that the old woman had taken long to open her house and decided to check on her.
Semewo adds that unfortunately, he found the old woman lying dead in a pool of blood.
By press time, the body had been taken to Mbale city mortuary for postmortem as the case number vide was registered CRB 56/2024 as investigations continue.
