The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has extended the deadline for the submission of Continuous Assessment (CA) scores.

The new deadlines have been communicated through a UNEB Press statement dated Thursday, 3rd October, 2024.

UNEB says the new deadline for UCE Candidates of the new lower secondary curriculum is 30th October, 2024 and submission for S.3 Learners is 15th November.

The submission for UACE Continuous Assessment (CA) scores has also been extended from 30th September grace period to15th October. However, the CAs submissions for UACE during this period attracts a surcharge of Shs50,000.

The Examining authority warns that students whose CAs are not submitted to UNEB shall not be graded. This applies to the New Lower Secondary Curriculum Candidates and not the Transitional Candidates who are repeating S.4.

“UACE Centers should note that UNEB will not receive any CA Scores after 15th October. It is also important to note that UACE Candidates without CAs where they are needed will not be graded,” reads the statement signed by Jennifer N. Kalule Musamba, UNEB’s Principal PRO.
