A single fatal accident has occurred towards Magodesi Bridge involving Motor vehicle, UAV 044V Fuso white and Blue in Color that was loaded with oranges.
According to the Bukedi South Police Spokesperson, IP Mugwe Johnson Moses, the accident happened at about 5:00AM on Monday Morning, 18th November, 2024.
The vehicle was loaded with oranges coming from Kumi and heading to Busia.
“12 people injured (victims) and have been rushed to different hospitals for medical attention,” says Mugwe.
He says that one Female adult died on the spot and another died from the hospital adding that their identities are yet to be ascertained.
The Road eventually got blocked by the truck, however, by the time of filing this story, the truck had been towed to Tororo CPS parking yard pending IOV inspection.
Police is yet to establish what exactly caused the accident, meanwhile, the driver is on the run.
