H.E the President of the Republic of Uganda and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, has appointed five Assistant Inspector Generals of Police.
According to a Police statement issued by ACP Rusoke Kituuma today, 2nd December, 2024 those appointed are James Apora, currently Director Logistics and Engineering, Lawrence Niwabiine, Director Traffic and Road Safety and Joseph Obwona, Director Interpol and International Relations.
Others are Steven Tanui, Director Fire and Rescue Services and John Geoffrey Musana currently Deputy Director, Logistics and Engineering.
“The Uganda Police extends its congratulations to the officers upon their appointments and promotions,” reads Rusoke’s statement.
