𝐓𝐡𝐞 Ministry of Internal Affairs’ 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲.
The Ministry has this afternoon of Tuesday, 3rd December, 2024 announced that the internet which had broken down due to a fibre cut resulting from the ongoing works on Old Portbell Road is fully restored.
The breakdown had affected Passport and Visa services related services as Passport applicants are temporarily unable to access Passport Portal or receive services for personalization and interviews at the Ministry of Internal Affairs headquarters
Personalization of resident facilities such as work permits and student passes were also not available at the Ministry headquarters.
