Police has issued a stern warning against Musicians using gangs to terrorize and intimidate each other.
The stern warning was issued on Thursday, 2nd January, 2025 by Police Spokesperson, ACP Rusoke Kituuma following numerous altercations between different groups of musicians on New Year.
The warning states that police has, “The Uganda Police Force has observed a trend among musicians who are utilizing gangs to intimidate one another leading to disorder and chaos at public events and entertainment functions.”
Rusoke says police has commenced investigations and warns that all individuals involved will be arrested and prosecuted before the courts of law.
The Spokesperson cited incidences that happened at Forest Park and Bunga where a musician’s home was attacked.
