The Umukuka III of Inzu yamasaba, HRH Mike Jude Mudoma has today, Saturday 4th January, 2025 issued a statement contradicting what his Public Relations Officer said about dissolving Inzu yamasaba.
On Friday, 3rd January, Stephen Masiga told the media that the Umukuka had dissolved Inzu yamasaba replacing it with Bukuka bwe Bamasaba.
Mudoma statement “Fellow Bamasaaba, l’d like to set the record straight regarding the misleading claims circulating on various platforms. It’s been falsely alleged that I dissolved Inzu Ya Masaba. I must correct this: as the Umukuuka, I don’t possess the authority to dissolve either a company or a cultural institution”.
He added that the truth is, Inzu Ya Masaba was initially registered as a company, which meant it served the interests of its shareholders rather than the broader Bugisu community. Our goal now is to correct that mistake and establish a robust cultural institution that prioritizes the needs and well-being of our people and endures for generations to come” Mudoma said.
He said ” Let’s focus on promoting unity, understanding, and factual information, rather than spreading hate speech and misinformation”.
