KOBOKO
Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has been faulted for withholding UCE 2024 results for St. Charles Lwanga College Koboko over an invoice of Shs50,000.
According to the School’s Head teacher, Francis Okeny, UNEB did not notify the school administration of an existing invoice which was moreover generated in 2015.
He says the Examination body did not communicate this pending invoice which the school administration had long forgotten. He says, they came to know of the invoice after calling UNEB on Tuesday, 11th February, 2025 when they could not access their results on their Portal.
Okeny was however, optimistic that the results would be uploaded on their Portal today, Wednesday having paid the Shs50,000 promptly.
Mr. Okeny criticized UNEB for not addressing the issue earlier, causing inconvenience to students and parents adding that other schools in Koboko face similar delays due to technical issues with UNEB’s payment system.
